Take control of your child’s nut allergy

I’ve been where you are…

  • It can be overwhelming

Being a parent of a child with food allergies can be overwhelming. Many parents do not receive support and resources they need at the time of diagnosis. Did you know studies show 81% of parents of children with severe food allergies report significant worry?

Meet Lindsay

I am SO glad you are here! I am Lindsay Green, a Nurse Practitioner, Professor, and Mom…

When my son was diagnosed with a peanut allergy at 10 months old, I felt overwhelmed and lost. I wasn't sure how to go out in public safely, and I couldn't imagine dining out or traveling! What about my other child without an allergy? I had so many questions, I was fearful as this invisible disability changed my family's life.

I searched for help and support but couldn't find what I needed. The internet was filled with misinformation that only adds to anxiety. So, I took matters into my own hands. With a solid foundation in medicine, I’ve refined my expertise in food allergy by reading, researching, attending conferences, and consulting multiple credible sources so that I can provide you with reliable information and comprehensive support, all conveniently located in one place. You might feel lost right now, unsure of what steps to take next or how to adapt your entire life. That's where I come in.

As a nurse practitioner, I've helped thousands of individuals understand their diagnosis and manage it effectively. As a professor, I love educating others. Now, I'm putting the two together to work with you to navigate your child’s food allergy. I'm here to support you every step of the way.

After talking with Lindsay, I was empowered to monitor for specific reactions in my infant, have a go to supply of allergy friendly foods, and feel ready to treat an allergic reaction.”
